A lovely resolves nose of flower honey, lively but rounded in the mouth. Fully mature but lots of life left. I don’t know the background to the non vineyard designation here but a lovely quiet wine. At Heimat in Frankfurt.

Auslese level, but only "Feinherb" according to the label. 9,5% alcohol.
Pale yellow color. Pretty off-putting nose with aromas of both reduction and TCA: rubber and mouldy cellar. The taste doesn't come across as corked, but only semi-sweet and completely dead with no flavors to speak of. The bottle cost 30€.

Glass: Riedel Vinum Riesling Drank over 4 days Clear, medium lemon color. Medium- intense which is surprisingly youthful. No signs of ageing, no much petrol. Off-dry, with good acidity and quite lightweight with 9,5% alc. Its is pleasant and has medium intensity and a medium- finish. Very enjoyable and refreshing to dring. It lacks a bit of complexity to be really great, but for a 23 year old Riesling it is really good. It can be kepz for some more years, but it will not develop any more so drink up.
