Dark color. Raw game, beef jerky, blueberries and blackberries as well as black olives and violets in the nose. Super dense, deep, a bit raw, but also a bit elegant. In the mouth, it's still quite tannic, it has a leathery texture, stony density, some lighter notes appearing here and there like sunbeams in dark skies. Juicy finish. Lots of wine for the money.

Dark red with Purple rim. Sour cherry, cranberry, blueberry, leather, thyme, smoked bacon and black pepper. The wine has smooth tannin, fine nose and balance but lacks of concentration and complexity. Although some acidic taste is protrude, overall quality is not bad at this level. This is not Hermitage but a Crozes Hermitage wine. Alc. 13.0%

Well this was a wine i saw in the wineshop and it looked interesting to me. And it certainly is an interesting wine which is also very good one. I had it in Zalto Bordeaux glass where the nose showed graphite-blackberry- and to me also some notes from a barn. In the mouth its very velvety and smooth in a really good way, little hints of some black pepper and some blackberry as well but on a subtle scale. Highly enjoyable wine.

A polished syrah lacking some complexity and concentration. A bit unbalanced. Luckily my only bottle.
