Deep purplish ruby red. Dark nose with black olives, blackberries, black spices, dried meats and a touch of caramel. Medium tannins (6/10) with a full body. Layered palate with quite a bit of oak with smoked meats, olives, spices and some black berries. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2028.

We had this wine with spaghetti and bolognese sauce. Very enjoyable, I recommend bringing to room temperature. First glass was at cellar temperature, couldn't wait. Pleasant at the cooler, temp, strong cherry nose and wood finish. At room temperature the bouquet opens up, a more mellow wine, with great taste and balance.

A quite rich wine. Blackberry on entry—dangerously close to jamminess. The wine, though, does acquire an attractive savoriness. Still some pretty sturdy tannin.

Very grassy and earthy notes with a delicious fruity and caramel taste profile. Strong hints of vanilla.

Decanted for an hour then drank over the next 2-3. Smoke, blackberries and pepper. Really enjoyed this one tonight.
