  • Another nice 2013 Pavelot, and first time with Pavelot's Bressandes. Blast of sweet red fruit on the nose and palate. This shows a different character than the Savignys, slightly less "hard," slightly more refined (which is not to say necessarily better). On a qualitative par with the Savigny wines. Drinking well now, no need to hold.

  • Nose: Lots of funk black/red fruits and oak.
Palate: Black cherry, earthy funk with med acidity and med finish.

This was my first from the producer and i thought it was a nice effort but really nothing here that impresses. Perhaps its the youth of the wine or the vintage for the producer?? Time will tell...
