  • PYCM vs Lamy vs Ramonent (Kolabo): Blinded. Served together with the 2013 En Remily, this was slightly tainted by TCA. Leaner and more deductive compared to En Remily but could have been due to the TCA as well.

  • Had a flight of Chassagne Montrachet of 15 different wine across different vintages and wine maker. Interesting to note that for a group of 8 people, most couldn’t have guess the wine maker, all rather most got it wrong. The WOTN or favorite are quite similar representing the quality of the wine maker. And price point of bottle vis a vis the quality is inequitable.

  • Back on track vs my last bottle. This one was pristine; nearly transparent. Focused, vibrant, and in a good drinking window. Nice wine and nice showing.

  • Great wine. High toned, slightly reductive nose. Lemon and mineral, Lean but intense. Long dry finish. Opened up over a 4 hour dinner so suggest giving it some air.

  • Friday Night Double Blind Tasting $60+ (Bin 75 Alpharetta, GA): Paler green with slight yellow hue; lovely nose, lime blossom, elegant dancer of sorts, limestone, slight butter note, pie crust, key lime pie, beautiful but lacks some heft in the midpalate, pure, tasty, wiry, long floral and cream finish; still quite young.
