Already kicked off a lot of tannin and quite approachable with food. Expressive and bold, if not the most nuanced. Very enjoyable right now and I'd expect added complexity over the next couple of years. No hurry but in the window.

Crimson-black; black cherries, blackberries, black currants, strawberries, tar; restrained ripe currant/berry, juicy acidity, good heat, good structure, firm tannins, good finish Decanted 1 hr, needed more. Ripe, dark berry flavours with youthful acidity, tartrates, 14.5% alcohol and tight tannins. All the components of an ager, needs 10+ years.
