Delicious! This wine was a gift and has been in our cellar for quite a while. Perfect for an end of summer celebration. Glad we waited for this special occasion.

Zinfandel with a dollop of Carignane by The Queen of Zinfandel, Carol Shelton.
Raspberry, cherry, plum. Oak, vanilla. Medium bodied. Acid medium. Alochol high. Very drinkable and food friendly. Year after year, the Wild Thing delivers incredible QPR @ $19.

I'm with Bizspritz on my second bottle of this one: light red fruits and wood on the nose and palate. No roundness, depth or complexity. Best to stick with Dry Creek AVA for those big, robust California Zins.

7/28/2017 - Eric.S Likes this wine:
Medium bodied. Red raspberry, cherry, blackberry. Oak signatures. Some alc poking out on the finish. Probably better QPRs out there.
