  Classic Amarone that shows what it is all about. Dark ruby. A full-of-promise nose that you could spend an hour over before even tasting. Bottle had been open for an hour and recorked for 6 hours. Absolutely lovely with elegant gestures from amazing musculature. Trickster sweetness for a fleeting moment in the front of the mouth. A nice big story of Italy in the middle. And a dry, poetic finish.
