  C'est la troisième bouteille que je déguste de ce Morgon 2013 du domaine Chamonard et c'est probablement, pour ce millésime, l'un des Morgons qui m'a le plus charmé.
  
  Robe d'un rouge cerise foncée. Nez très plaisant, je m'imagine en train de me promener à la campagne par une fraîche matinée d'été avec des arômes éclatants de fraise, de framboise, de bleuet et de pivoine qui explosent dans mes narines.
  
  La bouche est légère, le fruit est gouleyant avec une prédominance sur le bleuet et la framboise bleue (oui, j'en ai déjà mangé!). La finale est superbe sur un beau fruit mûr avec juste assez de matière et d'acidité pour accompagner une variété de plats à table.
  
  Ce n'est pas le vin le plus complexe, mais diantre que c'est bon! Je crois même qu'une courte garde pourrait le bonifier. Je connais ce domaine depuis seulement les deux derniers millésimes, mais il sera désormais sur ma liste d'achats de valeurs sûres dans le Beaujolais.

  A delightful detour from the two current Morgon leaders. Perfect for the summer too. An elegantly styled-- one might say "very French" -- Morgin with medium body, very nicely integrated medium red cherry flavors, less dark earth and plum than most, and a nicely balanced acid profile that does not trip over into the unpleasant acidity that many 2013 cru Beaujolais can present. The fruit kept its place consistently throughout the bottle and the black pepper on the nose and in the glass never became intrusive.

  Astonishing poise and perfume. A tight package with just enough sappy fruit, but beguiling perfume in the nose and palate, with a spicy, clean finish that tingles nicely. Tart cherry and pomegranate, exotic Asian spice; refreshing, and enough deep red berry and cherry fruit to satisfy.

  Very nice finish, opens with a heavy nose but turn classy after a couple of hrs.
