About the same as I remember it: fairly big in style, dark cherry, fair to good balance, medium long finish. I liked it but think the price was a bit high at $51 US. Served with coho salmon and grilled veg: it held up well to all the food and goes well with salmon. Drink or hold.

Tasted alongside 2009 DD Laurene & 2013Phelps Creek P.N. Served with ham. Nice nose with some subtlety, full mouth flavors without being over done. Big enough for any meat or game... This is tasty but young yet. Well balanced for food. Medium long finish that was very enjoyable. Fair to good QPR at $51. Stood up well to the Domaine Drouhin.

Nose - per Erica smoky, musky, clove Mouth - more powerful than the Juliard, plum and darker cherry. Still quite elegant. This potentially could do interesting things with extended bottle aging.

Winderlea pinot noir never disappoints. Just a really nice wine at a fair price point.
