Light ruby color; medium bodied. Bright raspberry and a bit of floral pastille candy. Freshness coming through from good acidity, while tannins seem fully integrated. Lingering finish on back and sides of palate. Lovely with sauteed chicken and potatoes dauphinoise.

Tasted with 3 other Oregon PNs, including 2015 Erath Prince Hill in the same flight and 2 vintages of Domaine Serene Evenstad (2010, 2016) in a different flight. All were very impressive, but this one trailed the pack by a bit. Really good dark fruit flavors and rich texture, but a little soft and single-dimensional for me, without the complexity of the others. It was the favorite of another in the tasting though, so it’s a very good example of the style.

Light ruby color. Surprisingly mild nose of red berries and floral notes, but full flavors of raspberry, red currant, cherry and apple. Medium body, satin-like mouthfeel and a medium-long finish.

Drank this last nite and forgot to make a note. Youngish still. Full of strawberry and perhaps raspberry. Silky.

Exactly what a pinot should taste like. Went great with our fatty steak.
