Drinks easy but not a very good bottle. Perhaps it would be better if served colder. around 12 degrees, I'd say. I served it at around 15-16 and it is dominated by alcohol but I taste cherry and raspberry too.

As my palate has developed, my appreciation for this type of Pinot has subsided. Always under $10, and from a non noteworthy Pinot growing area this red wine is not a disaster, but also not very inspiring. We poured it through a vinturi, and swirled like crazy to get to the point where it is OK, Light to moderate magenta color. Candied nose hard to discern as Pinot. The palate is mildly tannic, and well acidified as we would expect for a Pinot. The fruit is a little artificial, and the mid palate a little weak, but I have had lots worse expressions of this grape.

Not bad at all for what it is - - under $10 imported Pinot Noir. Do not feel ashamed to drink and enjoy. But accept it for what it is.
