Better than the previous bottle a couple of years ago. Maintaining bright fruit with added complexity while remaining a simple somewhat easy going pinot. Soft tannins and mild acidity. Enjoyable. In a good spot.

Pop and pour, consumed over 3 hours. Nose: Medium expressiveness, pomegranate, dust, and Asian spice. Palate: Medium bodied, tart dark red fruit attack, solid acidic back-bone, tart cherry and pomegranate appear through the mid-palate and linger through the back-end where earth and spice join in. Finish: Medium length dominated by earth and tart dark red fruit. Interesting old world type wine dominated by tart fruit and earthy tones.

Beautiful, complex with bright fruit and nicely integrated mineral and earth. I expect it will have a wonderful evolution over the next couple of years but doesn't need it.

Just had the 2013 vintage and thought it was better than the 2012 surprisingly. Good pinot but a bit simple and a little too in-your-face and lacking in the nuance I would expect. I did find it very drinkable upon opening without any decanting or whatnot.

Soft cherry/berry and floral nose. Med-bodied; Dry and fresh with the addition of some baking spice flavours on the palate.
