Tons of sediment, so give this a decant. It was open right away and very tasty, but better on day 3. Inky with lots of dark blue fruit. Some seasoned oak on the nose. Still good tannic structure, but not grippy in any way. The acidity is still there, but toned down. Dark blue fruit transfers to the palate. Wish I had more.

Wow! Even better than last time. A super-nice syrah, at its peak now, not anywhere close to running out of its drinking window (don't stick a fork in it after 2019). Deep, dark, balanced... already dropped its sediment... Wish I had more. Can't believe it was only about $19 or whatever it cost.

What an amazing wine for the price. Pretty sharp and acidic when first poured, but mellowed when aerated. great complexity. Smooth, rich, wood, vanilla, some berry flavors - just a good balance. This is a tremendous QPR wine.

Dark dark fruit with a lovely silky mouthfeel and fine tannins. Lacks a bit of complexity, but definitely delicious and keeps you coming back for more. Almost could be mistaken for a Malbec instead of Syrah.

Dark fruits, with gentile drying tannins on the finish. Nice value.
