  Scubarex brought this to dinner on Wednesday when Benchland came to town. This was not decanted. It was a beautiful gold color and clear. The problem with this wine is that it had a rather funky nose. With all the wine at the dinner, I did not have time to wait for it to blow off and I did not have an extra stem to just let it sit. Because of all the wine I never got back to it later either. This wine would have really benefitted from a splash decanting right before Scubarex left his home (just some friendly advise for next time). In any event the funk never blew off for me and as a result I could not score this wine higher than I did. Very fresh tasting though with ripe apricot notes. 85+ points.
