oily, petrol nose on the masculine side. light-med-light. balance of acid and sugar. has the aromatics of an older Mosel. muted fruit. ok example of a petrol/slate Mosel wine. improved over the next 2 days.

Had this a week or so ago so no formal score. Quite good. From what I remember, honeydew melon, peach, and honey on the palate with lemon peel and light minerality on the back end. A little on the sweet side but still food friendly - of course I'm a huge German riesling fan. At around $20 this is a definite buy, at $30 or more probably a pass.
