  This wine has a medium to dark ruby red colour. On the nose, layers of ripe spiced blackberry, raspberry, black currant, and black pepper mingle with some subtle violet and baking spice notes. The palate is smooth, complex, and balanced with flavours of cherry, cassis, blackberry, and subtle sweet cigar together with smooth tannins. Its complex, ripe flavours, balance, and its long, lingering finish make this wine a natural choice to pair with grilled red meats, lamb, and BBQ ribs, wood fired pizzas but can also be enjoyed by itself.

  A Ripasso-style of wine where the wine is re-passed and fermented on the skins of their appassimento wines. Pressed and aged in French, Hungarian, and American oak barrels. Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Highly aromatic with notions of sweet plums, sage, spice and black cherries. On the palate, it's medium+ bodied and fleshy with pleasing aroma replays. Vegetal notes rise to prominence with air. It has just a hint of sweetness and subtle spice notes on the mid-palate. Balanced acids and medium-length finish.
