Blind Chard and Pinot Tasting: Cherry, spice, some stalk and red berries. Light weighted fruit, on the delicate and subtle side of things. Good, although some more depth to the fruit would lift it a notch or two.

Decaying autumn leaves, when cold there is some brushed cow hide/horse/animal urea, "incontinent cow", but it goes as it warms, hint of smoke. Some juicy blackcurrant without the herbaceousness, blackberry, slightly firm tannins, some sappy spice, good length. Starts out round and broad which is nice but then front-mid palate the tannins build and build to the point where they overhwhelm, the acid kicks forward because of it, and the it unbalances a little - so, we would love to see this in a few years

Wish they gave up corks, but until I get a TCA affected bottle, I suppose I can't complain when the wines are so good. Well balanced and ageworthy Pinot. Good Producer.
