Wine-ark Burgundy Tasting (wine ark alexandria): Peachy fruit, butter, cream and sweet spice. A little muted after the 2013. More of the same on the palate but the oak is a little obvious and overbearing for me today. Hmm

Chateau de Meursault Masterclass with Stephne Follin-Arbelet. (wine ark alexandria): Almost honeyed with butter, muted stone fruit and sweet spice, slight floral notes as well. Juicy acidity on the palate…which is quite similar to the nose but with a slight banana element, tangy and a bit of front of mouth grip. Nicer than the 2012 but I think I prefer the 2013. And the honey element leads me to believe that this is a little bit forward for its age as well. Hmm.

Quintessential Meursault-Charmes. Ripe, slightly exotic, broad shouldered and powerful. It has some almond butter aromas and flavours and was generous and full with a nutty finish.
