  • Winebid $10 purchase so fingers crossed.

Color: Dark center to ruby/garnet rim. Quite pretty with no browning.

Nose: Smoke, blackberry jam. Hints of mint, cinnamon spice and herbs.

Palate: Rich, deep, long and very well balanced on the palate with fully resolved tannins. Sweet, pure and clean blackberry fruit flavors have mellowed and deepened with time. Almost elegant? At least for a zin. 15%abv on the label but no heat evident.

A great testament to what well made Napa zin can do.

  • This wine opened a little rough but settled into a smooth clean finish. I decanted it and let it sit for 2 hours. It was a mellow wonderful wine with a great flavor. I was sad to open it (based on life suggestion on CT) but amazed once I drank it. We paired this wine with a crock pot goulash and some desert chocolate. WOW!! It lived well past the CT suggest 2001 drink stage..

  • ORANGE BROWN ON THE EDGE. DEEP FRUIT AND DRIED PLUMS IN THE NOSE. FLAVOR LIKE THE NOSE AND A MEDIUM LENGTH FINISH.
