Very nice mature pinot. The nose is red cherry and the palate opens with very sweet cherries and moves to earthy and secondary flavors on the mid-palate and finish. Has a round and smooth mouth feel, slightly glycerol.

Open two days. Shiny, dark ruby. Aromas of elevated intensity, including lots of oak (sweet spice and cabinetry), plum and black cherry. Dry, with elevated acidity, soft tannins, medium-bodied, 13.5°. Still seems a little hot, despite plenty of stuffing. Unsurprisingly a little tired tonight, it was all pleasure on opening.

Some bricking at the edge. A lot of cherry, some brown spice, some tea, some oak (smells like a barrel room - but not overpoweringly so). Still has good acid and a fair amount of tannins in the finish indicating it can go a few more years. But for $27 for a mature wine (after mixed case discount), it's really nice. Bought from a shop in PDX who had gotten it recently direct from the winery, so it's been stored well.

True, tasty, fairly simple/straighforward Oregon Pinot. Ample acid and fruit. Not much on nose. Sediment

Tasted after 2 hours of air. Medium garnet color. Tea and cherries. Some spicy. Good persistence. Medium finish.
