A less fruity and more licorice driven expression to the nose. Medium body, high acid. Cinnamon on the palate. Just a little bit of earth. Day 6 after over nights in the fridge, and still holding very well. Red cherry, and light licorice. Acid is big, but still well balanced, even today, which is surprising.

(Badia a Coltibuono Chianti Classico) Medium dark red violet color; aromatic, tart red berry, cranberry nose; very tart red berry, tart red currant, mineral palate with medium acidity; medium-plus finish

Not bad for its price level. Easy drinking, fairly light Chianti.

Disappointing, very simple, some acidity and some red fruits, few tanins, not much more to report

Bightly fruited with supple fruit, easy going but not soft for all that.
