First time trying and was pleasantly surprised by this lovely Sauv Blanc. Honeysuckle, lemon rind, vanilla, and faint cedar, on the nose. Similar notes on the palate, with maybe a touch of apple and apricot. Crisp, bright, acidity; very smooth, balanced, and refreshing to drink. I will be picking up more of this for sure.

Tasted this a year or so ago and was impressed, so when I saw a bottle at a supermarket I picked up a bottle. Was expecting this to be a little old and past it, but was very pleasantly surprised. This was fresh and ripe, but also hugely complex and interesting. Had a deep yellow straw colour showing the age, nose was complex and deep, lacking the typical grassy SB notes, more mineral with a hint of wood, honey. Palate is more of the same, more full bodied than expected, with an apple and honey taste and a long ripe finish. Different, but very tasty and well worth the money. Still going strong, will try to pick up some more.

Yellow straw color with golden reflections. Aromas of pear, gun flint, golden delicious apple, lemon curd, honeysuckle, and a slight bit of reductive sulphur aromas. Vibrant acidity with a bit of creaminess lead to a palate with flavors of smoky gun flint and lemon curd. This could be somewhat presumptuous, but I would say that this wine feels maybe a touch manipulated (over oaked?), but despite this, this wine is highly attractive and very pleasant to drink.
