(Jon Everett's Physics Farewell) Deep dark ruby with some tawny edge showing. Aged berries, sweet earth, and dusty spices. Rich, dark berries on palate, elegant with age showing. Silky tannins, gentle structure, if simple, but some alcohol heat too. Long minty finish, eucalypts, tea-sweetness and autumn brambles. Enjoyable now, but do not keep.

Tasted at Coriole Cellar Door: Aged in a mixture of French and American oak this mid-red Shiraz has a very fruity aroma. Seems quite light, however I did get some pepper (capsicum). A savoury wine, not particularly flavoursome.
