Very dark violet, 95% opaque with a bit of haze. Moderate nose of bright red fruits, lots of earth, and a touch of oak. Piercing flavors of raspberry/blueberry compote backed by good acidity and light tannins. The finish falls somewhat short but leaves some nice pecan and toast notes in the aftertaste. 4+10+16+7 = 87
