Drank this in a mini-ladder with a 2014 of the same. It was a day ago so I can’t provide details but we enjoyed the two with rack of lamb and asparagus cooked on the Traeger. The pairing was awesome with the meal. Lots of life still in the wines but drinking very nicely now.
The wife liked the 2013 better citing a better flavor profile. I liked the 2014 slightly better as it seemed to be more concentrated and complex. I believe with more time in the cellar, she would see it my way. Using our “averaging method” gives the ‘14 a slight 1/2 pt edge.

Muted blueberry nose. Woodsy and astringent. Not much fruit showing, just some of the same blueberry. Solid secondary flavors of dried mushrooms and forest floor. Drinks like a much older wine, but not necessarily with the same depth.

We've found that ES reds tend to need some air time, PnP usually disappoints for the first glass, so gave this bottle a 2 hour decant. Really expressive on the nose - notes of blueberry, vanilla and pencil shavings. Fruit was soft on the palate, it's a pretty and bright wine - doesn't drink big, and it paired nicely chicken, white bean and kale soup.
We left it in the decanter and by the time we got to the last glasses about five hours later, the fruit had really started to breakdown. We poured the last bit down the drain. Upshot here - give it some air, but not too much. Makes me think that it won't age particularly well either, if we had a second bottle I would be looking to drink this year.
