About 5 plus months have passed since pulling a cork on this cuvee. Wow! I don’t recall the acidity being as sharp as this. Maybe it’s because we recently return from tasting plushy SB in Sonoma, none of which followed the Sancerre model. This is almost as sharp as biting into a white grapefruit. Some gooseberry on the mid-palate and finish where anise and chalk make a contribution. By the end of the bottle, the mouth begins reacting to the acidity. 13.1% alc. With chevre (I think). Recommended with Reservations. (I just don’t recall any prior reactions to the acidity as occurred in this bottle.

Just as it was 6 months ago, “White grapefruit, lymon, gooseberry, anise and chalk.” The fruit may not be a bright and the cut may be a slightly less sharp, but this remains a very solid pour. 13.1% alc. With artichoke and cheese dip. Recommended.
