Classy, well balanced wine. Purple colour. The Syrah is dominant in the peppery nose, while the palate integrates the Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet. A real berry fruit mix in the mouth, still with some pepper, and a really nice progression of flavour though the palate. Fine structure and elegance is always a hallmark of Celebre, and this a great example.

Interesting blend of merlot/Shiraz with 10% Cab Sauv thrown in. There’s dark berries, liquorice, olive, dried herbs and some cherry on the nose. The palate has very grippy tannins that jar with a lighter palate, with plenty of acid to thrown into the mix.. This needs some time to see if can come into balance, and is not a bottle I would drink by itself (drink this with food). Will have to see what the future holds.

Colour deep red , clear edges purple hues 15/15 Nose medium intensity , Fresh black currant blackberries , red cherries raspberry, perfumed dried herbs and black pepper, florals - violet and cedar- cigar box great harmony 28/30 Palate medium bodied, fairly Austere compared to the 2014 vintage spicy, pepper with succulent berry fruit, black olive finish is drying tannins and mouthwatering acidity 40/44 Overall Super nose but palate is more austere than 2014 which may mean it will age well , 20% new oak , not overpowering , maybe the Cabernet is providing the tannins , time will tell , still 5 yo now .. 9/11 Tasted this again on the second day and palate has improved out of sight , obviously just needed a bit of air , so give this one a good decent- extra point on the nose and 2 extra on the palate

Rich berry fruit threaded with tobacco. Sweet and round against the gums. Fresh and pure.
