A wine for necrophiliacs! Slightly oxidized and starting to wilt but giving off brilliant notes of tropical fruit (cooked pineapple, mango), lemon curd and lime blossom. Nothing to sneer at. While not fresh in the least and certainly not for cocktailing or the faint-of-heart, it ROCKED our evening.

A very good performance for its age; very nutty. Still elegant despite oxidised notes. Drink up! [Justerini Italian wine tasting event Sep 1, London].

Seven year old Soave. Slighlty oxidized, not very bad wine. Interesting to taste an aged soave. Good minerality.
