{screwcap, 14%} Ruby/black. As youthful as you’d expect; blackberries, coconut & vanilla aromas abound. The palate is less oaky though; it’s awash with ripe, sweet red fruits, some coconut oak and medium dusty tannins, but the acid is low, so it sags just a little. The finish is dry, with a little astringency; this seems like a decent entry-level shiraz, showcasing some of the attributes of the region, without ever reaching the heights at all. Best within 5 years I reckon.

Lovely Barossa Shiraz. Not too ripe. Balanced flavours with integrated tannins. No sign of age. Sill youthful but had settled down.
