slow legs, medium yellow, nose is muted; hints of melon, honeydew, pear, citrus; tannins & sugars pretty well balanced; nothing exciting; would pair well with fish (we enjoyed it with yellowfin tuna on the grill), full bodied, 12.5% alcohol; in my opinion the best grape offered by Gravelly Ford for 2013, over its merlot, cabernet, & pinot, which are not nearly so good; well worth the price of $7 a bottle, a special markdown at Fresh Market

Golden yellow green coloring. Clean Asian pear nose with subtle oak. Rich Asian pear palate modest acidity and well balanced oak. Very enjoyable.
