Clearly improved from previous bottle (June 2018). Crisper, better balance, overall more Chablis like. Based on these two bottles can go beyond 2020, no problem.

Light golden colour. Delicate and complex aromas of minerality, butter and lemon zest. Perfectly balanced at around 10-12 degrees Celsius. Paired perfectly with the shell fish we had. My best Chablis experience so far.

Not everything I would have wanted. Not the typical Chablis 1er Cru, missing some of the minerals and steely finish. Not bad, but feels more like an ok generic Chardonnay. Subtle nose, pick up a hint of vanilla. On the palate, some rather subdued citrusy fruit and, yes, some minerality. Improved after 45 min in open bottle. Not bad, but more of an easy drinking quaffer than the full Chablis 1er Cru experience.

One of the best Chablis I have tasted, extremly fruity and fresh with just this great hints from the oak barrels, Chardonnay can be this good and I bet this can be in the celler for several years.
