I did not expect much, but I was pleased: while fresh, the wine has a good degree of complexity, aromas of custard apple, pear, melon, chamomile, acacia and almond. Nice acidity in the mouth (it partly goes through malolactic fermentation), with medium body and good flavour intensity. The aftertaste has a herbal bitterness, so it is better paired say with a cheese pizza or some white cream pasta, but the aromas are fun to find.

Man is that tasty. Thicker, almost like a bit of cheese. But also still with minerality and texture. The opposite of La Scolca. This is more like Meursault Gavi, that is more like Chablis.

Light citrus extending into peach. Decent wine to pair with mild seafood.
