Drank in early Dec. 2022. Tasted alongside Cloudy Bay 2017 Marlborough Pinot, this compared more rough around the edges but also more unique. Powerful with plum and fruit, some spice, less vanilla than the Cloudy Bay but more rough around the edges. Feels a bit hot alcohol-wise but overall enjoyable. Got another bottle I will write another note for later in 2023.

Very pretty, enjoyable pinot. Dark cherry, faint trace of earth, violets on nose. Medium body. Fruit forward with dark cherry and plum but has a good balance to it - it is not overblown and, again, has faint touch of earth in background. Very smooth, satiny texture and pleasant finish. This definitely fills the bill for an affordable, enjoyable, balanced pinot that it is true to its varietal. A crowd pleaser and great "week night" wine.

Soft, complex notes of plum and dark cherry, forest floor. Delicious wee suprise. Drink before 2017.
