Very good. As other reviews have noted, this is somewhat hard to describe. I'll admit that I was slightly underwhelmed at first, but after drinking a bottle over a few days (vac-sealed in between), it's really grown on me.
The wine is stony and slightly woodsy on the nose, with some oxidative overtones. On the palate it's all about texture, like some pinot blancs I've had. Fantastic feel to the wine, presumably due in part to the skin contact this sees. It coats the tongue while avoiding flab. I'm usually into acid-driven whites, and I wouldn't describe this wine that way. But it does have enough zest to punch through the creamy texture, and long finish leaves you refreshed, rather than weighed down.
This really shines with food. I'm having a glass now (at lunch, no less!) with a salad with a walnut-oil-and-basil vinaigrette, and the wine is doing a fantastic job. Again like a pinot blanc, the wine seems pretty impressionable, and I imagine it would drink well with a range of foods. At a reasonable price, you should consider drinking this with your next dinner (or lunch!)
Yellow-gold in the glass; interesting nose - a lot going on here. I love the overall "feel" and complexity, but would be hard-pressed right now to identify any single facet of this nose. Almost like a pine forest nuance in the background.
Dry & balanced on the palate; sweet & sour white fruits, decent persistence. Very likable, if difficult to put words to.

This is not a super flavorful wine; kind of light in taste and body, more than I expected. However, flavors did fill out more the second day. It is a refreshing Italian white that could go with a lot of foods. We had it with an asparagus risotto, and it went perfectly (a cup was used in the cooking). It tastes great with Parmesan cheese. For the price, it's an excellent value, and I like the story of the wine. Will buy again.

Complex nose, straightforward higher-acidity verdicchio in the mouth... fun
