PnP served non-blind and enjoyed over 2 hours. Not a great cork it seems: lots of VA day one though quite fine on day three. Should be at a good level for another 3-5 years. For its full potential, it's highly recommended
Has filled out nicely since the last one I had, some four years ago. That said, it's in its preferred zone now and for the next few years. Drinks at the top of its class in price-point and peer group. VG+ partner to food, but some may enjoy it just as much on its own, too. highly recommended+
Excellent, full-flavored, balanced and structured Barbera. Deep and broad, traditional flavors and aromas with core of fruit that appears sappy, even if the wine is dry, and correct. A lot going on here, this is understated, explosive at times and fully delicious. Really well-grown (organic) Barbera, now or in the next 6-7 years. recommended+
Served non-blind, with 45 minutes of air in decanter; excellent food wine.
{winery visit} Full ruby, clear and bright. Penetrating, and vibrant aromas of cherry, spice, pie crust and soil. Medium+ body, with plenty of layers; develops good breadth by the second glass. Full-flavored, structured, and pure. I have been enjoying this wine for nearly 20 years, can't recall being disappointed; always a treat, and best at 3-5 years after release. Great sense of place/grape; excellent food wine. Now thru 2028. recommended+
