Acidity fading, with notes of guava, honey, and roses. Slightly oxidized, but pedigree was evident and the wine was still very enjoyable. This bottle probably would not have lasted another year.

Our first of two bottles, popped and poured at dinner with our friends, R&D. Light golden yellow color. A beguiling bouquet of nectarine, pear, orange blossom honey and something a touch tropical. Rich texture. Flavors of ripe apple, guava, vanilla and citrus. Long, layered finish. Glorious. It's somewhat hard to say that a bottle of wine is worth north of $200, but this is absolutely worth every penny.

Popped and poured. Full bodied, juicy and exuberant this sports flavors of orange, tropical fruits, cream and minerals. This wine has hit early maturity but should still hold up for 2-3 more years

For my palate, this is about as good as a chardonnay gets. Beautiful array of balanced flavors with notes of honey, minerals , a luscious core of citrus with good acidity and very long finish. Paired wonderfully with steamed lobster. I would have scored it with 100 but I think it could improve a bit with more aging, although it's hard to imagine it being much better than it is now.

Lush, ripe, fleshy, tropical, not bad but a touch over the top, particularly on the palate where the alcohol comes through more than I'd like.
