Courtesy of tlv, allowed to breathe in bottle for an hour or so before it was served following the 2009 Indigene. Classy. Youthful straw yellow color. Notes of fig, apple, orange blossom, pear and vanilla. Our server, Mitch, who tasted it said it was like early morning, and I know what he meant. There’s this sweet dew floral note that I imagined when I heard him say that. A unique descriptor, but appropriate I think. Young, I’d keep these tucked away for 3-4 years yet.

Probably the best Point Rouge (or Peter Michael chardonnay, for that matter) that I've had in quite a while.
On approach, a rich bouquet of fruit (apple, pear, mild orange) and rich honey and flowers.
Full and rich in the mouth, with those same fruit notes plus melon, a little bit of almond, a slight amount of vanilla-y oak, but great acid and minerality to keep the whole thing together and lively (whereas many other recent PM whites have seemed "flat" to me). Long finish / lingering presence. Very hard to put down.

Very very good. But not as good as the Judge!
