  Our friend gifted this bottle to us so we finally opened during his visit for another one of our birthday month sip 'n snack days. Fairly light red on the eye. Aromas of berries and cherries along with a touch of peppery spice. Pleasant, but nothing exceedingly special. Medium to full-bodied with strong berry flavours and subtle tannins. Given a Syrah-based Tuscan wine at a nice price-tag, we would say a most excellent cocktail party drop that we would have no problem sipping two glasses. Sipping perfectly now, but probably will peter-out by 2018/9.
