My last bottle - have the McCrea '14 to follow up. Everything I want from a top Cali Chardonnay. Full, viscous, ripe exotic fruit and with integrated vanilla oak and long dry capsid finish. Drink up soon while at its peak.

A follow up for the quadrille NC Riding Club Ladies team et al who demolished a (noted) magnum of 2014 Domaine Jean-Marc Pillot Chassagne-Montrachet. I was cook for the evening! Again just a sip, but as per my earlier notes and for drinking over this summer.

Excellent accompaniment with our roast chicken. Full viscous and concentrated exotic stoned fruit and ripe pear. Integrated oak and long dry capsid finish. Superb - have bought a case of the 2014 Vine Hill to follow this up in due course. Quintessential Californian chardonnay. For drinking by the end of decade. Across the pond for a long fortnight Tuesday. Wyoming (? wine desert) & California (definitely not!).

Two bottles consumed with family Sunday dinner (inc brand new first grandchild - 13 day old boy). Now at its peak: viscosity, pear, peach and vanilla all perfectly integrated with a mellow capsicum acid balance. Classic, rich and very Californian. Excellent. Now and for a year or two.

Majestic.
As per my July '17 note. Easily with the power to accompany our pork cutlets superbly.
Till the end of the decade.
