A true California Chard. Creamy on both nose and palate but with enough acid to keep it very clean, pineapple and kiwi and green apple dominate the fruit, vanilla the cream. Long finish with enough acidity and vanilla to make it a pleasant linger.

Iron Horse chards are always a favorite around here. A fair amount of acidity and some vanilla in this one. Drink up.

November Wine Tasting - Cardinal Crystal Lake (Cardinal Liquors, NW Suburbs Chicago): Elegant styled chard, very rich and creamy in the mouth. Nice balance of white fruit, butteriness, and oak. Long, lingering finish.
