  My last bottle was two years ago in October, 2021, at which time I said drink within six months. Of course, I ignored that advice, and, sure enough, it has gone way downhill since then. Not only are the tannins gone, but it now comes across as flat and dull. Only an idiot would expect a $24 bottle of cabernet to hold up for more than 6 or 7 years. Guilty as charged.

  I opened it last night. Very pronounced blueberry! Refrigerated overnight. Now wonderful-still has blueberry but balanced black fruit. Very nice!! Unfortunately my last bottle.

  Don't know why, but this bottle impressed me more than the bottle I had less than four months ago. Checks all the California cabernet boxes. Beautifully balanced right now, red berries with an almost velvety texture. Tannins still there, but they seem to be receding rather quickly. In fact, it's so smooth that I worry about its longevity. Probably best to drink within the next 6 to 12 months.
