  • Deep burgundy in colour. Plum jam aromas. Soft Ribena like fore palate, heading to restrained tannins. A fruit driven style near the end of its drinking window.

  • After an evening of disappointment from opening corked bottles of venerable age it was wonderful to retire the the safe haven of a Keith Tulloch wine of youth and vigor. Too young actually. Keith suggest at least 8 years for this style. Having snatched one from the preschool I now tend to agree with him. Bountiful fruit on the nose. Luscious peppery shiraz on the palate with tannins that still need time to integrate on the finish. Give it till 2020 at least.
