This has an interesting and distinctive nose of saffron and brine; it took me some time to figure out what this smelled like (seafood risotto). On the palate, peach, apricot, honeysuckle, and notes of pineapple and nuts/yeast on the medium finish, with good acidity. Average value for the money at a bit under $40.

Yes, Pichler makes a Sauvignon Blanc -- who knew?
