Interesting wine. Pale, youthful color - this looks like a new vintage. Big floral nose, with honey and botrytis. Absolutely massive wine, with flavors that go tropical and mint and a perception of sweetness. Not much acidity, it could pass for a mango lassi. Certainly interesting if unusual.

Dougie comes to town (Chicago, IL): Super weird wine, but surprisingly ok. Hefty in its fruit profile, this is intense and aromatic, but somehow there's still a little bit of acidity here. Not too green, probably due to the ripeness. Atypical in all respects I can think of, but still alright.

Fluorescent yellow colour. Nose starts off with menthol, peppermint, green tea, then come asparagus, gooseberry jam, some typical SB herbal notes, even some sauercraut. Low accidity, dense and quite concentrated taste. With air nose becomes sweeter, hint of botrytis appear. Finish is typical of a SB. Very peculiar and interesting, overall quite a pleasurable wine.

Glorious fragrant nose - aromatic, slightly muscatty, green, gooseberry notes. Fresh fruit on the attack. Nice complexity. Lovely finish. Huge length. Very impressive, but what a price! (£20.99 is just too much for what it is.) Very Good Indeed.
