Fool me, I now see that I have tasted this and gave just 85p. Funny cause again it's 85p for me.
Not bad at all but a bit too opulent and a bit too sweet for me. That said I can imagine that people who are more into straightforward fruity stuff will like this.

pale yellow colour, smells of minerality, honey and a little bit of apricot, in the mouth minerality and honey, nice residual sugar that is balanced by a nice acidity, medium body, in the aftertaste acidity and honey, good length,(the honey that is mentioned several times in this TN doesn't mean that this wine tastes sweet, the flavour it has just reminds me of honey) really good Rheingau Riesling, would buy again.

I was a massive fan of the 2013 but this is not quite as good unfortunately.
Clarity and nice acids - check. But it feels less ripe and the fruit is not nearly as pronounced as in the prior vintage and so the fun factor is more muted.
Nothing wrong with it though, still a decent off-dry Rheingau, probably best with food.
11,5 EUR for this is not outragous but not on the cheap side either.

Clear, pale, lemon-green. In nose clean, med- intensity, minerality, lemon, green apple, youthfull. Palate: off-dry, acidity med, alcohol med, intensity med, chalk, lemon, green apple, bitterness, finish is med+. Drink now, not suitable for aging. Light, easy, neytral wine, not too sweet, frendly to drink.
