Petaluma Gap Pinot Noir blind tasting: Really well built wine with dark fruit, tar, leather and tight lemony acid. Crisp and classy. A serious wine that asks for a little attention. Firm. Like the Fogline Sunchase, this leans toward an old world style. Another great food wine that will pair well with dark flavors but light weight.

Nice bright colors. Crunchy red berry fruit and medium oak or stem quality. Spicy mid palate. Fine grit tannins. There's a bitter note on the finish which I enjoyed. The lush fruit forward crowd didn't like this wine. Perfect! More for me. This needs a couple more years in the bottle.
