Winery vintage chart on website says this is still at peak maturity (not gone over yet), but I don't know. This is the first rose I've ever tasted, & I didn't know what to expect. I had a flavor I wasn't quite sure of -- strawberries, raspberries, hay, a finish of cherry cough medicine. Became creamier and more complex as it warmed down from refrigerator temperature. I didn't take much time with this. Sipped a small three ounce pour with a dish of butter braised onions and warm fresh bread.

Tasted originally at winery. Tasted with Mesquite grilled Romaine lettuce with a mustard dressing. The rich color told be it could handle the mustard and I was right. The bottle came out of the fridge and over the salad entree outside, it changed flavors as it warmed up. Each nee flavor brought its complexity and added a new characteristic to the food. The grenache component was very evident. Loved it.

Oh my, the first bottle was so very rotten eggish. Costco shouldn't have been selling this wine.

Over the hill unfortunately. Probably best a year ago. Still drinkable with fruity overtones, but thin.
