I guess keeping it in the fridge has delayed development because this was drinking fine last night. Bright fruit, excellent body crisp clean finish with hint of spice- perfect match for left over planked salmon grilled pizza with Bellweather Farms Frommage Blanc, capers and grilled sweet onions- wow.

With Uglesich's gumbo this was mighty fine- served cellar temp-5. There was a tad of sweetness not experienced with the other pairings- guess that's why they suggest a riesling with gumbo.Good balanced nose and palate- very ready to drink- like this month. The berries are light and fragrant but not overly ripe or fruity.

This is definitely a rose to serve cellar temp! We had this with left-over Paley's cedar plank salmon salad and house dressing- wow what a match. The fruit is still very much alive and vibrant, the rest of the package is in balance. The terroir was as evident in the wine as the salmon- line caught BC salmon and Paso Robles limestone.
