Dark fruited wine. 1/3 red fruit and 2/3 black fruit. Red fruit was brambly boysenberry, black fruit that was more baked fig and black licorice. Dark chocolate nuances, forest floor, leaves and sticks, takee you through the entire dark fruit profile. Finishes with figs and jammy black fruits, black pepper and mostly youthful oak tannin here with some smoky toast 'thang' going on. Really good, and in a nice place. Not sure how long it will be there, so drink up!

Ripped the cork and let it sit for an hour. Bottle drank very well - my best experience yet with this bottling. All elements firing cohesively. I will not decant going forward.

This bottling is drinking well with a hour decant. I can see this vintage going another five years easy. QPR at $75.00 is decent to good provided the appellation.

This bottling is drinking well with an hour of air. No rush but I don’t see this wine improving with more bottle age.
